  • 2007 New above ground fuel tank farm put in place and buried tanks removed.
  • In 2008 won a $2,500,000 Restore New York Grant to help with the redevelopment of the former North Country Shopping Center.
  • In 2008 awarded $300,000 HOME DHCR Grant to help qualified homeowners with needed upgrades.
  • In 2008 awarded a Strategic Planning Grant of $24,000.00 and a new Comprehensive Land Use Planning Committee was appointed.

  • New Animal Abuse and Animal Control Laws passed with a tougher stand taken on animal abuse in the Town of Plattsburgh.

    2008 new court security cameras and mirrors put in place using a $7,000 JCAP Grant.
  • 2009 New 9 hole Disc Golf Course opened with an additional 9 holes proposed for 2010.
  • 2009 Variable Speed water pumps and new SCADA system put in place to save energy and stress on existing system accomplished by support from NYSERDA.
  • 2008 Shared Services Grant of $290,250 awarded for upgrade of WWW Treatment meters and software.
  • 2008 Board of Ethics Committee reauthorized
  • 2008 all Town owned park lands, buildings, play areas and beaches go smoke free and recognized by the ATFN.
  • 2009 Town becomes an active member of the Action for Health Committee a sub-committee of the Tri-County MAPP Community Group.
  • 2009 Moffit Road connection to Town water system completed.
  • 2009 Cadyville and Morrisonville water connection completed providing a back up water source for the Cadyville system.
  • 2009 awarded Local Government Efficiency Grant of $371,000 to consolidate the Town of Schuyler Falls and Morrisonville Water Districts with the Town of Plattsburgh Consolidated Water District.
  • Local Development Corporation Board authorized and operating with its first CEO/CFO to help promote business development and job growth in the Town of Plattsburgh.
  • 2009 New Employee Handbook created as well as Computer Use and Violence In The Workplace Policies adopted.
  • 2009 new Town wide upgrade of software systems for accounting and billing.
  • 2009 Town Website Upgraded and improved
  • Replaced aging and leaking manholes in the Champlain Park neighborhood
